Ruben Abstract

Rubén is a Spanish contemporary artist who was born in Madrid in 1975.

"First I paint the base “sea” and then the Swimmers shadows. Then I pour the epoxy resin and leave it curating for at least 10 days. Then I sand the sides of the artwork and paint the bodies with 2 different skin colours. Then I glue the textiles with a top quality german glue for textiles, that now sponsors me and then I use 3D paint for the heads. I dont polish the resin so its 100% pure natural first quality resin."

Each and every Swimmers is a one-of-a-kind, original artwork hand-painted in Madrid (Spain). They are ready to hang and include a certificate of authenticity. 

I create my artworks using acrylic paint, epoxy resin and 100% recycled textiles, before mounting them onto a beautiful natural wood frame. Each one is signed on the side and ready to display.
