Shai Levi

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a painter and an artist. I always loved exploring and playing with raw materials which helped me evolve into a versatile and diverse artist. Today I create with a wide variety of materials.

I graduated Industrial Design studies at the Avni Institute, and hold a degree in Art and Humanities from the Open University of Israel. I’ve spent the last decade specializing in unique designs based on wood and iron in my own studio, designed commercial, private spaces and furniture, as well as created an independent line of products sold in Israel and abroad.

Today, my main focus is on Art. Following a personal and meaningful experience, I returned to my first love - painting, free art; creating work that expresses the essence of the soul and life. This point of view, combined with my life experiences, moved me to create colorful and vivid pop art works characterized by large and intense color spots, representing- beauty, the love of life and the present moment.

Over the years my work has been exhibited in leading galleries in Israel, as well as throughout the world.
